About second-hand Perdu machines

Perdu planting machines can be used to plant a variety of vegetables and arboricultural products at precise depths and distances. Perdu makes planting easy on account of its user-friendly operation. Perdu machines are sturdily built, have a long service life and require little maintenance thanks to their simple design and high-quality parts.

How Perdu planting machines work

Perdu planters have a transplanting element for each row, with a vertical carousel for plant tubes. Minimum and maximum plant distances are partly determined by the number of trays in the carousel, while the exact spacing is ultimately determined through gear adjustment. The carousels are centrally driven by a roll at the front of the machine, so the driving speeds of the tractor does not influence the distance between the plants. The planting tubes are filled at the top of the machine with young plants and open at the bottom in the planting shoe.

Perdu planters are available in various models, with a varied row capacity. This depends on the model; some models are designed for two to six rows. The per-row capacity is 1800-2000 plants per hour.

Perdu transplanters can be used to plant soil block / peat blocks, tray plants, super seedlings and paperpot plants for such crops as cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts and potted plants.
