Vanhoucke clamp harvester for cabbage

Machine is equipped with:

• 2 hydraulically driven torpedoes
  • Adjustable in different directions to lift and align the cabbages.
  • The leaves are folded around the cabbages to protect the cabbages.
• Clamping/Harvesting belts made with a cell structure in the shape of a cabbage.
  • Max. cabbage width 40 cm
• Currently set-up that it only can harvest sauerkraut. Additional piece can be ordered so it can harvest all kind of cabbage at Vanhoucke for a price of 1500,- euro.
• Adjustable wheel to facilitate feeding the cabbages into the belts.
• Electronically height-adjustable stainless steel knife to cut the cores.
• Dual waste disposal system
  • Equipped with an inclined roller that separates the leaves from the cabbage, with the leaves falling to the ground
• Equipped with a platform for 1-2 people to inspect and sort the cabbage on the machine
• Sieve belt with elevator to transport the products directly into tipper truck (Max. 350 cm high)
• Also the possibility to transport directly into crates by means of a folding platform (Max. 160 x 120 x 120 cm boxes)
• Wheels Ø 1000 x 500
  • Tyres foldable for transport
• Danfoss double hydraulic pump (2x 19cc), all Danfoss motors adjustable in speed.
  • Electronic control with NG6 valves (continuous oil flow from tractor, option between load-dependent and open circuit)
• Mechanical folding chassis for transport on truck
• Electronic adjustment of belt speed in cabin 
• NG6 valves with electronic joysticks

Minimum tractor requirements:

• 85 hp
• Hydraulics: 25 litres per minute
• Power take-off: 540 rpm
