The AMAC Onion haulm topper with haulm removal folds the foliage by means of a flail shaft. The clapper shaft casts the haulm on the discharge conveyor, which transport it to the side. The clapper shaft is wider than the onion bed, so that the foliage on the side of the onion bed still to be harvested not get pressed by the tractor wheels.
