Van Dijke TP 1900X6000 drum washing machine 

This drum has been used for rinsing / washing grass.
After adjusting the soil drain in the water bath, it can be used for potatoes, carrots and flower bulbs.

• Drum stainless steel with round holes
• Outfeed web belt
• Electric hydraulic pump 
• Adjustable end-discharge slide/gate at the end of the drum
• Excluding electrical control cabinet
• Drum with small holes of +/- 9 mm 
• Outside of the drum is covered with finer mesh. This can be dismantled.  
• The bar belt is covered with a mesh belt. This mesh belt can be dismantled, allowing the normal bar belt to be used.  
• No dirt discharge belt / auger for soil in the water tank. So less suitable for heavily soiled products or heavier soil.

The washing machine has only been used for 3 seasons. 

This washer consists of a solid and simple heavy-duty construction, with a perforated drum shell.

The unit can also be used as a ‘dry drum’ (low water level, intensive washing) as well as a ‘wet drum” (high water level, more gently washing).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For an optimum washing result, Van Dijke applies a round-shape perforated drum. Flights are mounted inside to transport the produce through the machine, meanwhile giving the typical washing effect to the produce.

With a Van Dijke washing system, you are in full control of the washing intensity. In combination with the load (filling) in the drum, the speed of the drum and the water level you can achieve either a vigorous washing or a more gentle washing result. The settings of the washer depending on the dirtiness of the produce and the type of soil.

The machine is designed for industrial purposes. All critical parts (like bearings, v-belts, chains, etc,) are from quality brand-name manufacturers. To simplify maintenance the machine is designed so that all important parts of the system can be easily reached.
