How the topbelt lifters operate

A fully automatic leek harvester enables the leeks to be laid mechanically into the bins. This allows the tractor driver to lift leeks on his own without any other workers behind the tractor. A shear that reciprocates with the oscillators break the ground open around the leaks. A grading chain mesh then separates the leeks from the soil after which workers at the end of the grading chain mesh stack the leeks in the bins.
