Used Flow pack machines

A flow packer, also known as a flow wrapper, is an advanced packing machine for wrapping perishable produce such as vegetables, meat and dairy produce, but also non-food products, at high speed. The process of the flow pack machine is relatively simple and delivers a thorough sealed package which increases the shelf life of the packed produce. The flow packer is therefore in much use across the entire world and is typically distinguished by the packing process from a roll of thin flat plastic foil.

One of the most significant benefits of a flow wrapping machine is: an extremely high capacity for a relatively low cost per packed product. Depending on the plastic welding system on the flow wrapper, a capacity of hundreds of products per minute an be achieved.

Horizontal flow packers

In horizontal flow packers the plastic foil is wrapped around the product and sealed along the (long) side. The product is presented in a flow line on a horizontal conveyor belt. Options in used flow wrappers

In addition to the standard functions of the various flow pack machines like the ones described for our previously used flow packers, there is also the potential of adding other functions to the existing machines. There is for example the possibility of processing produce with a flow pack machine in a protective atmosphere and/or in resealable packaging. There is also the possibility of adding a shrink-wrap tunnel to or behind the flowpack machine.

Please find below a summary of the previously used flow packers of Ulma and RGD which Duijndam Machines currently has for sale. Please ask about the various capacities and functions of our used flow packing machines.
