About second-hand Schouten machines

Schouten Sorting Equipment, a Dutch manufacturer of processing and sorting machines for agricultural products, was established in Kampen in 1937. The company focuses on sorting machinery for tubers and root vegetables, such as potatoes, chicory, Brussels sprouts and onions. Additionally, the Schouten Bercomex business unit focuses on machines for sorting and processing flower bulbs.

The most important requirement imposed by many farmers is product-friendly sorting. Schouten developed a comprehensive line of machines especially to meet this demand. This vision is later also applied on the machines for storage, treatment and processing.

Schouten Kampen produces the following machinery: jumpgrading machines, vibration sieves, crate tilters, hoppers, onion toppers and box fillers. Schouten also makes various types of conveyor belts, inspection belts and elevators.

Additionally, Schouten designs custom processing and grading lines by putting together various machines. Duijndam Machines offers client-specific solutions regarding to processing and/or grading lines for potatoes, onions, Brussels sprouts and flower bulbs.
