When the fill weight in the hopper approaches the set weight, the wide belt stops, and the final kilograms are filled by the narrower conveyor. This ensures that the fill weight closely matches the target weight. Once the target weight is reached, the narrow conveyor also stops, and the hopper's contents can be manually emptied. After emptying, the hopper is refilled, and the cycle repeats. This type of weigher is used for weighing products such as potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, and other large vegetables.
