About second-hand Ferrari machines

Ferrari Costruzioni Meccaniche is a manufacturer of transplanting machines based in Verona, Italy. Ferrari planting machines can transplant soil / peat blocks, root balls, tray plants and bare roots. The machines are suitable for a wide range of vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, aubergines, tomatoes and even tobacco.

As Ferrari invests heavily in the continuous development of its planting machinery, several components of its machines are patented. Ferrari’s high quality standards have resulted in the production of highly reliable and widely sought-after transplanting machines.

Ferrari machines are also in demand because of the many adjustments (e.g. spacing, depth) that can be made to suit particular crop types. Some models are even equipped with a self-cleaning planting tube.

Ferrari Futura

The Futura is a fully automatic transplanting machine that requires only one operator, whose only task is to replenish the trays. The Ferrari Futura transplanting machine automatically takes the plants from the tray and plants them according to the pre-set depth and spacing at a capacity of 8000 plants an hour.

Ferrari F-Max

The Ferrari F-Max is equipped with a rotating carousel that can be used to transplant pyramid-shaped, cylindrical, conical, and square blocks of soil and can therefore be applied to a wide range of varieties such as tomatoes, cabbage, aubergines, sweet peppers, long-leafed lettuce varieties and even tobacco. Plants can be planted up to heights of 20-25cm. The F-Max also produces excellent results on soil that has not been thoroughly prepared. The machine’s capacity depends in part on the operator, varying from 3500 to 5000 plants per row per hour.

Ferrari Rotostrapp

The semi-automatic Ferrari Rotostrapp is available in a self-propelled or a trailed model and is suitable for transplanting square blocks, making it ideal for planting lettuce varieties on root balls. The Ferrari planting machine can transplant up to 8000 plants per row per hour, making it the fastest belt-fed transplanting machine on the market.

Ferrari Multipla

The Ferrari Multipla is a double-row transplanting machine with a horizontally rotating carousel. This Ferrari planting machine can be used to transplant a variety of crops, such as broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, cabbage and celery.
