The pumpkins can be carefully emptied into the water bath. A stream of water transports the product to the discharge conveyor. This picks up the pumpkins and transports them to, for example, a pumpkin brushing machine. The dirty water runs into a container. There, dirt particles are sorted out through a sieve.A pump then pumps the water back into the pumpkin tub. At the end of the pumpkin brushing machine, the pumpkins are sprayed with fresh water.
