J.J. Broch ARCO-1-4 garlic harvester

The JJ Broch ARCO-1 to ARCO-4 series consists of efficient garlic harvesters designed to automate the harvesting process. These machines extract garlic bulbs from the soil, remove excess earth, and cut off the foliage.

• Hydraulic Drive: Powered via the tractor’s PTO and the harvester’s hydraulic pump. All mechanisms are driven by hydraulic motors. Independent hydraulic system with oil pump and temperature control.

• Foliage Alignment Guides: Front-mounted guides lift and align fallen foliage for efficient collection.

• Adjustable Drawbar Blade: Cuts the garlic root system and gently lifts the bulbs; depth is hydraulically adjustable.

• Transport and Cleaning Belts: Vibrating systems remove soil as the bulbs move over the belts.

• Cutting Disc: A fast-rotating toothed disc cuts the foliage at an adjustable height.

• Row Width Adjustable: 40–50 cm (currently set at 45 cm). Trailed model with hydraulically adjustable digging blades and swivel drawbar.

• Side Discharge Conveyor

• Camera System and Monitor for the Tractor:

  • Camera 1 monitors garlic lifting onto the tension belt

  • Camera 2 monitors the area around the cutting discs

• Transport Dimensions of the Garlic Harvester: 500 x 220 x 240 cm + disassembled discharge conveyor 300 x 100 x 250 cm
