Manter VP16000 – 16-head multihead weigher

Used for: weighing, counting and mixing peppers with direct discharge to flowpacker. With it's large weighing containers this machine can also be used for weighing other products, such as potatoes, onion, carrots, ect. 

Overview

• Robust Manter weigher with 16 weighing buckets, designed for high accuracy and gentle product handling. 
• Ideal for (colour) mixes, piece counting and weight-based portions of peppers towards flowpacker.

Main features

• 16 weighing buckets for accurate combination weighing and mixing
• 3 feeding conveyors with dosing belt (frequency controlled) for constant product feed
• Moving brush above the vibrating trays for optimal singulation (fewer double layers/clogging)
• Cross discharge belt under the weighing buckets with flap for controlled release to packaging line
• Counting function via sensors above the weighing buckets (piece packaging possible)
• Flowpacker-ready: stable, even product flow

Modes & functionality

• Weight mode: precise target weights (e.g. 500 g / 1 kg / 1,5 kg)
• Count mode: set quantities (e.g. 2-, 3-, 4-pieces)  Mix mode: colour/size mixing based on recipes (recipes adjustable per order) Recipe management: 
• Quick changeover between customer orders and packaging types

Maintenance & hygiene

• Daily: clean vibrating trays/brush, visual check of weighing buckets/flaps
• Weekly: check belt tension, bearings, vibrating parts; clean sensors 
•  Periodically: calibrate load cells, inspect flap mechanisms and brush drive
•  Recommended spare parts: brush, belt hinge sets, flap actuators, sensors, load cell cables
