About second-hand Debulbing machines for tulips

A debulbing machine removes tulip bulbs while keeping the stem and the flower. The tulip debulber has a high capacity of up to 12,000 bulbs per hour and can work both independently and as part of a complete tulip processing line. Most debulbers have a separate drive section so that dirt and sand cannot get in. This way maintenance is kept to a minimum.

Operation of a tulip debulbing machine

Due to a clever correction system, loading the machine need not be accurate and work is therefore done quickly. The tulips are load on to the supply belt of the debulbing machine by hand. The correction unit ensures that the tulip bulbs enter the debulber accurately in one line. Two flattening wheels then crush the bulb and the roots are cut off the stem. After this two removal mortars (Torpedos-screw jacks) ensure that the remainder of the bulb is removed without damage.
