Harvester for fresh spinach

The leaves are cut from the spinach plant near the soil by a band saw or large blades. Good blades ensure a close cut, allowing the leaves to be harvested from the same plant several times. The height of the blade is usually controlled by sensors. Depending on the type of spinach harvester, the product arrives on a conveyor belt after it is cut. The spinach is collected in crates at the end of this conveyor belt. This procedure allows spinach to be harvested with minimum effort and maximum yield.
