The main reason for bundling, is to keep loose products together to make them into a shipping unit. In addition to flower bunches and fresh bouquets, the Cyklop binding machines can also be used to bind and strap leeks, asparagus, cables, hoses, textiles, printed material and other small products, with elastic band. The binding machine can be applied universally. With the binder, the elastic band can be tightened loosely to very tight. The binding machine can be supplied as an individual unit or it can be integrated into a processing line.

The Cyklop binding machine is triggered by making a sliding movement across the table top, with the product to be bundled. This is the way to operate the switch. The bunch of flowers is against the prestressed binding material and the machine itself will place the cord around the bunch. A knot will be tied in the elastic band underneath the table top, after which the elastic band is cut. When this is done, the binding machine is immediately ready for the next cycle. Binding is done rapidly and always at the same adjustable tension. The strapping takes less than 1 second. The elastic band is available in different colours and with various tensile load and breaking load.
