About second-hand Nobels machines

Nobels has been developing and manufacturing planting and harvesting machines since 1955. This development is manifest in its wide range of robust machines for planting and harvesting primarily flower bulbs.

Nobels planting machine for flower bulbs and onions

The Nobels planting machine is a very solid and robust machine. In addition to planting flower bulbs, this machine can also be used to plant onion sets, for example.

The Nobels planter works according to the following system:

The planting materials are fed onto the planting conveyor from the supply hopper at the desired flow rate. This is done by means of a flap and a conveyor belt underneath the supply hopper. That planting conveyor is driven by the wheels of the Nobels planting machine. This means that the planting conveyor is linked to the driving speed, ensuring that the planting distance in the row remains uniform regardless of the driving speed. Additionally, any slippage of the tractor wheels will have no influence on the uniform feeding of the bulbs onto the conveyor. After the conveyor belt, the flower bulbs and/or onions are usually transported to a vibratory gutter that optimally distributes them across the rows. A supply hopper is often mounted on the roof of the tractor, called a planting roof, to feed the flower bulbs into the Nobels planter.

Nobels harvester for flower bulbs and carrots

Nobels bed harvesting machines were developed, in the first instance, for harvesting flower bulbs on primarily lighter types of soil. These Nobels harvesting machines are also used all over the world to harvest various types of vegetables, such as carrots grown on beds. Sweet potatoes can also be harvested with a Nobels machine.

The Nobels product range includes harvesting machines in various models and sizes, such as windrow harvesters, bin harvesters with a bin filler (for direct harvesting into cubic boxes) and trailed harvesting machines with an elevator (for loading a tipper trailer). The machines are available in models suited to track widths of 150 and 180 cm. The Nobels harvesting machines can be equipped with options such as a star cleaner for extra sieving capacity.

You will find all the used Nobels planting and harvesting machines currently for sale at Duijndam Machines on this page. Are you interested in one of these machines? Don’t hesitate to contact one of our sales advisors.
