About second-hand Tumoba machines

Tumoba is a Dutch company based in Barendrecht that is specialised in the development and manufacture of harvesting machinery of field produce such as Brussels sprouts, babyleaf, spinach, lettuce, parsnips, broccoli and cabbage. Tumoba also produces various types of grading and processing machinery for these vegetables.

The company gained a great deal of experience in the development of Brussels sprouts harvesters. Brussels sprouts can be harvested with a variety of machines, such as self-propelled Brussels sprouts pickers, tractor-towed Brussels sprouts pickers or stand-alone Brussels sprouts picking units.

Tumoba self-propelled Brussels sprouts picker

This self-propelled Brussels sprouts harvesting machine is equipped with caterpillar tracks and is suitable for harvesting 2 - 6 rows of Brussels sprouts. These Brussels sprouts pickers can vary in regard of the size of the caterpillar tracks and the bunker.

Tumoba towed Brussels sprouts picker

This Brussels sprouts picker must be towed by a tractor. There are machines available for one or more rows.

Tumoba stand-alone Brussels sprouts picking unit

When using this machine the Brussels sprout stem is harvested by manually in its entirety to enable the sprouts to be picked off the stem in the shed. The stand-alone Brussels sprout picking units can be powered electrically, hydraulically or by means of a PTO drive shaft (tractor). This method is often chosen by smaller growers and if frost has set in just before harvesting.
