About second-hand machines for Greenhouse vegetables

The vegetables in the greenhouse horticulture are grown in greenhouses with a controllable climate. Due to working in the greenhouses, there is often less space available for the machines. So, there are special seeding machines and spraying wagons that can be used in the greenhouse. In addition, the majority of the machines runs on electricity. Commonly used machines are the pipe trail trolleys, which are height adjustable by means of a hydraulic scissors, so they can be used for the harvesting of crops.

Cultivation in greenhouses comes with several benefits: the air temperature and the humidity can be fairly easily controlled and the cultivation is economic in terms of water consumption. Examples of cultivation in the greenhouse horticulture are: tomato-, pepper-, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant and radish growth.

In some parts of the world, these vegetables can also be grown outdoors, however the machines are intended for use in a greenhouse and not directly for the different vegetables.

Modern greenhouses are made of glass, but in warm countries, such as Spain and Mexico, they can also be made of plastic. This causes differences to the structure and the machines that are used.
