Drum screen /Drum sieve. drum 235 x 100 cm The screening drum/sieve has some qualities:- Because of the revolving screen deck and the inclination at which the drum is placed, the product passes through a long way of screen deck; the sieve operation is therefore very intensive.
- Self-cleaning screen deck As the drum rotates the screen deck is turned continuously so that the sieve openings (perforations) are increasingly emptied.
- By the rotation of the drum moves the product always with the drum wall up and falls back again. The product is thereby turned continuously. This effect gives an improved screening efficiency
