Verhoest Leek cleaning/peeling and washing machine with turning table

• Completely hydraulically driven, with a hydraulic power pack with an electrical engine/pump and  all hydraulic motors
• Construction completely in stainless steel
• Doors with lifting pistons
• The leek has to be put on a conveyor at the start of the machine
• The leaves are cut off with 2 rotating knives (clean cut)
• Roots cutting device
• Then the leek goes through 2 rotating peeling tumbles with peeling fingers, It takes the dirty leaves and pulls them off.
• Water sprinklers at different places in the machine clean the dirt away
• All functions are adjustable

The machine works hydraulically and consists fully of stainless steel (including frame). It washes, peels leeks, and cuts the roots and surplus green to size.
the peeling drums are easily adjustable via a lever. The speed of the belts, drums and knives are adjustable.Thanks to the extra soft clip binding, the leek is guided through the machine intact.

• The quality of the peeled leek can be improved considerably due to the double peeling brush.
• the machine brushes the green sleeves straight with two brushes just before the cutting knives.
• The leek on the removal belt needs almost no touching up and can be packaged immediately.
• Double root cutting arrangement cuts the root to the desired length.
