Van Dijke potato destoner S400

The Van Dijke de-stoner is the best way to remove stones, clods and other heavy parts from your products. This system uses a water circulation pump system with a high water turnover rate. This perfectly separates stones, clods and dirt, while gently treating your products.

Van Dijke uses a split discharge system for sand/soil and stones/clods, for optimal results. Products are fed into the first hopper by an infeed conveyor. Stones, clods, etc. sink down into the hopper on the discharge conveyor. This discharge conveyor carries the heavy materials out the hopper. Then the water flow carries the products through the product discharge conveyor to the second hopper, the settling tank. A water pump pumps the water back into the first hopper.
