The Garford Robocrop is a camera-guided hoeing machine for mechanical weed control between (and sometimes within) crop rows. It is widely used in vegetable production, arable farming and organic cultivation. A configuration for 5 rows is possible because the machines are modular and can be assembled according to row spacing or bed width.

Type: Inter-row hoeing machine with camera guidance

Main characteristics

•  Camera-guided system that recognizes crop rows and automatically corrects the machine 
• Accuracy: ±10–15 mm (up to ±1 cm with additional discs) 
• Hydraulic sideshift that automatically steers the frame left or right 
• Working speed: often up to ±12 km/h 
• Very suitable for crops that stand upright well, such as lettuce and onions grown on pressed soil blocks

• Trailed version: currently for track width 180 cm and 5 rows at 30 cm
