The seeds are sucked from the hopper to the holes in the seed disc. A special nozzle interrupts the vacuum then the seed falls from the seed disc. The drop height is very low, so the seed falls precisely into the furrow between the coulter, then the cleaning nozzle blows the hole in the disc clean from the inside to repeat the cycle.
