- The planting robot is well adaptable for other trays and planters according to TTA. Conversion to another tray requires the following.
- A pattern plate (the stainless steel plate with holes that match the tray) A pin bar (pushes the plants out of the pattern plate, makes sure plants come out of the tray properly from below) and side guidance.
- In addition, a software modification
- The grippers have to fit in the tray cell. Grippers cost approx €200 each new.
- “The grippers cannot move horizontally. This can possibly be restored or enabled again by the manufacturer.”
