Jasa PGS 2000 dual-lane sleever for trays and containers with cardboard sleeves

The JASA sleever personalizes packaging by applying a pre-folded, pre-glued sleeve around the package. This can be around a tray and/or a cup with lid, a topseal package or a flowpack package. As long as the packaging is rigid enough, many tray materials are possible; plastic, aluminium, cardboard, foam, etc. The sleeve can be closed on two or three sides and positioned over the entire length of the tray.

The JASA sleever was developed by going back to basics completely: how do you combine easy operation with short changeover times? Essentially from a financial perspective: how do you achieve as many production hours from the machine as possible at the end of the day? After evaluating several machine designs, it quickly became clear that changing between different sleeves should really only mean “changing the sleeves”, with no further adjustment required.

This was made possible by making the sleever cassette the heart of the machine. Each sleeve model has its own cassette. When the cassette is changed, the tray guide width is adjusted simultaneously by means of the autotracking system. Within 10 minutes the entire machine can be changed over from one tray and sleeve to another.

Due to its very compact design, the sleever can easily be integrated into an existing production line. Depending on the setup, various modularly designed denesters, filling stations, lid closing systems and infeed and outfeed systems are available for the sleever. Other machines can easily be connected to the sleever and offer, among other things, the possibility to divide trays from a single-lane output of a packaging machine across a dual-lane sleever.

Flex Cassette

The Flex Cassette is the ultimate solution for sleeving a large number of products, such as apples, tomatoes and kiwis. Despite the variety in shapes and sizes of these products, there is no need to use more than one cassette or to change the cassette. How many apples would you like to pack per tray, four, six or eight? Whatever the quantity, it is all possible with just one flex cassette. With a changeover time of only a few minutes, the Flex Cassette makes paper packaging flexible.

This current flex cassette is only suitable for the trays/sleeves it has currently been used with. These trays and sleeves for 4, 6 or 8 apples can all be processed with the same cassette.

Condition: Professionally dismantled after testing that the machine is in good working condition. Sold without refurbishment. Reason for sale: the owner now seals apple boxes closed with tape.
