Automatic cabbage harvesting machines

Automatic cabbage harvesting machines, as the name suggests, harvest cabbage automatically without human intervention. Using a clamp belt and knives, the cabbages are lifted from the field and conveyed upward by a conveyor belt. Here, the outer leaves, which are not used, are returned to the field, after which the cabbage is transported into a cubic crate via another belt.

Self-propelled cabbage harvesting machines

There are variations of cabbage harvesting machines that carry the cubic crates themselves, which need to be exchanged when filled. Other cabbage harvesting machines have a longer conveyor belt that can load the cabbages into external cubic crates that can come and go with a second driver.

Cabbage harvesting belts

In addition to automatic and self-propelled cabbage harvesting machines, you also have the option to harvest cabbages by hand. For some cabbages, such as cauliflower or broccoli, hand harvesting is even a requirement. To expedite the process, cabbage harvesting belts are used. This belt is mounted on a farm wagon, with or without a canopy, so that the harvested cabbages are directly conveyed into the wagon and can be transported to storage or further processing.

The farm wagon travels alongside the harvesters so that they can harvest the cabbages in multiple rows simultaneously and move across the field.
