About second-hand Flower processing machines

After the flowers are harvested, they need to undergo further processing before they are ready for sale to wholesalers or auctions. One commonly used flower processing machine is the bunching line, also known as a bunching machine. A bunching line processes the flowers at high speed into uniform bunches or bouquets.

The desired method of processing flowers or bouquets determines which bunching line is suitable for you. Bunching machines are also known as universal flower processing lines. Universal means that these bunching machines can process different types of flowers, such as lilies, tulips, chrysanthemums, alstroemerias, freesias, and peonies. The flower bunching lines differ in design and specifications. Depending on your space and specific requirements, one bunching line may be more suitable for you than another. In a universal flower bunching line, the process starts with manually placing the flowers on worktables. The stems are then automatically guided to a cutting or trimming mechanism, where they are brought to the desired length. Next, one or two defoliation units remove the leaves, depending on the type of machine and flower variety. Once the stems are clean, a binding machine – using elastic or tape – ensures a firm and uniform bunch. Finally, the bunches are placed on a conveyor belt, streamlining the subsequent handling and packaging.

Above, you will find all the flower bunching lines that we currently have in stock. Each machine comes with a description, specifications, and photos to give you the most complete picture possible of the machines. If you are unsure which flower bunching line is most suitable for you, or if the photos do not provide enough information about the machine, please contact one of our specialists! We are happy to assist you with any questions.

UNIVERSAL FLOWER BUNCHING MACHINE

Flowers can be processed in the bunching line by cutting or trimming, (single or double) leaf removal, and (single or double) binding with elastic. The type of flowers influences the design of the main conveyor belt, such as the width of the feeding belt. For example, a double row with ridges or additional sponges provides more stability during cutting, leaf removal, and binding. After processing the flowers, the bunches are collected on a collection conveyor belt.

The processing capacity of a flower bunching line ranges from 700 to 2000 bunches per hour and results in a uniform bunch or bouquet.

In addition to capacity, the space available also determines the choice of a bunching machine. A longer bunching line usually has more loading positions or a longer collection conveyor belt. A compact bunching machine takes up less space. Both types can be equipped with an electronic eye (sensor) or a collection bin.
