Different packaging methods from Ulma Packaging

Ulma Packaging offers various packaging methods for fruit and vegetables, tailored to the product type, presentation, and shelf life. Each method is part of a complete packaging line, including feeding, packing, and labeling—depending on the product and production capacity.

Flow pack (horizontal and vertical)

For loose or portioned products such as apples, peppers, and tomatoes. Products are automatically wrapped and sealed in film.

Stretch film

Suitable for products like cucumbers or peppers, where the film is tightly wrapped around the product for protection and a neat presentation.

Tray seal

For products in trays or containers—such as grapes or cut vegetables—sealed with resealable or recyclable film.

Thermoforming

For extra protection or packaging under modified atmosphere (MAP). The film is formed, filled, and sealed.
