Verhoest leek harvester automatic Plate filler – horizontal filling with leek with 10 rolls

Harvesting machine with a roll-up/roll-down system and 10 containers

Harvesting machine:

• Two front brushes to lift the leaves and below two cutters to cut the leek to the desired length
• Share that is adjustable in depth, fitted with a shaker that is also adjustable in speed
• Second long shaker, adjustable in all positions
• Two peeling brushes serve to peel off the loose leek leaves and roots
• Traction on one wheel
• Subsequently, the leeks go the cross-conveyor, which transports the leek to the leek container by means of a conveyor. The same conveyor also controls the pressure on the leek by determining the weight in the leek container
• This machine is powered by a hydraulic gear pump with its own oil reservoir

Unrolling system:

With the unwinding system, the leeks no longer need to be placed manually into the leek washer; depending on the capacity of the washer, this can save up to 5 man-hours

10 leek containers/reels (roll-up system):

• Each leek container can hold approximately 500 kg of rolled-up leeks.
• 10 leek containers are sufficient for approximately 15 hectares of leeks.
• On request, we can also supply additional new containers with the machine. (Please ask our staff about the costs and options)
