HELICAL washing system

The KRONEN HELICAL washing system (spiral water flow for gentle cleaning) ensures that leafy vegetables move forward in circles. This washes the product much more thoroughly and covers a greater distance. Therefore, a long washing section is not necessary.

Compact and modular design

The assembly of the GEWA washing machines is modular. This allows the machines to be adapted to different production requirements and conditions, for example by changing the discharge system from a vibrating conveyor belt, or by installing a new air bubble system on an existing machine.

Washing unit

Heavy dirt particles, such as small stones, and sand are removed from the product flow and sink through the mesh to the bottom. The contamination then no longer returns to the product flow.
