Complete Favrin washing and drying line for leafy vegetables, salads, herbs and other floating vegetables and fruit.
The installation consists of a stainless steel washing tank with elevator conveyor and a separate Favrin DryFix drying system.

Favrin washing tank with elevator conveyor

The washing tank is completely manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and is equipped with an effective bubble washing system. Air is blown through the water via diffusion pipes at the bottom of the tank. This gently moves the product and transports it towards the submersion drum and elevator conveyor.

The submersion drum ensures that the product is fully submerged and thoroughly washed. Paddles then transfer the product evenly to the perforated elevator conveyor. During transport, some of the water can already drain away.

The pyramid-shaped tank bottom collects sand, soil and other sediment. These can easily be removed via the large bottom drain, even during the production process.

Favrin DryFix drying system

The Favrin DryFix is designed to remove excess water from leafy salads, herbs and similar delicate products. The product is fed directly via a food-safe mesh conveyor belt.

An eccentric vibrator sets the conveyor belt in motion, while two blower turbines blow the water off the product. A separate suction turbine removes the excess water. This allows the product to be dried gently and efficiently.
