What does the Twister do?

Operators place flowers on the infeed conveyor according to a preset recipe. Software indicates which compartments the flowers should be placed in. The machine cuts the stems, forms the bouquet in a rotating
carousel and transfers it to a binding unit. Loading the flowers remains a manual task.

How is the bouquet bound? 

The Twister uses the Havatec Wicl-B, a rotary binding unit that wraps elastic around the stems. The number of wraps is programmable, and bindings can be applied at different heights. The
binding elastic is a recurring consumable cost.

Capacity and labour savings
