About second-hand Lily planting machines
The electric planting machine from Bercomex (formerly Van den Berg) provides many options for adjusting the planting intervals and planting depths. This means that amaryllis, nerines, decorative foliage, irises, freesias and chrysanthemum cuttings can also be planted. The lily planter in the greenhouse can handle bulb and tuber crops and cuttings as well as plant plugs.
Planting intervals
The drill pattern between the rows is adjustable. The distance between the rows can be adjusted between 1 and 99 cm in steps of 1 cm and the drill depth can be adjusted while moving. A steplessly adjustable interval can be set. The optimal time to plant can be set with this variable interval.
How the lily planter works
The lily planter moves along a portable aluminium pipe rail. The principle here is that the planter drills a row of holes across the width of the machine, and then moves forward a step. This distance is equal to the planting interval in the row. Then the persons sitting on the lily planting machine put the bulbs in the holes. The holes are then filled.
The lily planter is electrically hydraulically-driven and electronically controlled and therefore ideal for use in the greenhouse. The lily planter is very reliable and has no greasing points so that breakdowns and wear and tear are limited to the minimum.
