What are roller conveyors used for?

However, roller conveyors are not the same as conveyor belts. Roller conveyors use "rollers" to move goods, while conveyor belts use a rotating belt. Whether a roller conveyor is suitable for you depends on the goods you want to move. If you want to move goods with a flat bottom, such as pots or boxes, roller conveyors are often the best choice. Also, the goods must be large enough not to fall between the rollers.

Gravity roller conveyor

Unlike powered roller conveyors, gravity roller conveyors do not use rotating rollers to move goods but rely on gravity. These conveyors are simple and therefore financially advantageous to purchase.

Roller conveyor curve

Ideally, the roller conveyor runs from point A to point B in a straight line. This is often not the case in practice. Because straight roller conveyors cannot make curves, special roller conveyor curves must be purchased. These curves come in different angles, such as 90°. By adding curves to the roller conveyor, a suitable conveyor line can be created for almost any situation.
