About second-hand Turntables

Rotating tables are often used as a packaging table or buffer system. They are generally placed at the ends of processing lines. Processing lines can include packaging, grading, washing and potting machines. A turntable can be used to create a buffer for products ready for packaging. The products can then be put into boxes manually. 

Selecting the right top for the turning table

The material chosen for the top of the rotating table depends on the product’s susceptibility to damage. If the product to be processed is a delicate fruit or vegetable, a top with a soft covering is recommended. If the product can be treated more roughly a steel, wooden or plastic top is an option. For wet products, we recommend a rotating table with a plastic or stainless steel top.

Rotating speed of turntable 

Whether or not the speed of the turntable can be adjusted depends on the model. In most cases, the speed can be adjusted by changing the position of the drive wheel: By moving it closer or further away from the centre of the rotating table. Some rotating tables are equipped with a speed-adjustable motor, such as an adjustable variable motor or a frequency controller.
