About second-hand Binding machines

Above you will find an overview of the used elastic strapping machines that Duijndam Machines currently has for sale. Our knowledgeable staff would be happy to explore various options with you and provide you with advice.

Used Binding Machine

Many flowers and plants are sold in bundles. Whether it's tulips, roses, or other flowers, as well as asparagus and leeks, these products are bound in bunches by a binding machine. The binding machine is versatile, so with one machine, you can bind numerous products.

Bundle machines, especially those from brands like Cyklop, ARC, and Bercomex, are highly reliable and therefore very suitable for buying second-hand. By opting for used bundle machines, you can save significantly on the purchase costs while still choosing reliability. At Duijndam Machines, we always have a considerable number of used binding machines in stock. If you are looking for such a machine, check out our current offerings.

How does a binding machine work?

A binding device can be set to different modes, allowing it to bind both large and small bunches. The binder can secure the elastic either loosely or tightly. The binding machine is activated by dragging the product to be bundled across the tabletop, operating the switch. The bundle of flowers lies against the pre-tensioned binding material, and the machine automatically wraps the cord around the bundle. A knot is tied at the end of the elastic under the tabletop and then cut off. Afterward, the binding machine is immediately ready for the next cycle. The binding process is fast and consistently applies adjustable tension. The strapping time is less than 1 second.

The binding machine can be delivered as a standalone unit or integrated into a flower processing line or chrysanthemum harvester to automate the processing process.

Binding Machines for Flowers

Binding machines are often used for binding flowers. Flowers like tulips and chrysanthemums that are commonly sold in bunches can be quickly and easily bound using a binding device. The binding machine can be adjusted to accommodate both small and large bunches of flowers. It can also determine whether the elastic should be tightly or loosely bound.

Binding Machines for Vegetables and Other Products

In addition to flower bunches and fresh bouquets, binding machines can also be used to bind and strap with elastic various items such as leeks, asparagus, spring onions, herbs, cables, hoses, textiles, printed materials, and other small products.
