Hepro Rapida top seal packaging machine for asparagus

The machine heat-seals film onto trays, giving packaged produce a closed top and helping extend shelf life. The Rapida is intended for different packaging units, with the tooling determining which tray format can be processed. The specific machine has a 2-cavity tool, each cavity approx. 27,5 × 15,5 cm

For operation, the basic sequence is: place filled trays into the mould/tool → position/use the sealing film → initiate the sealing cycle → the heated sealing system seals the film to the tray → remove the sealed trays. Exact temperature, dwell time and film compatibility depend on the tray/film combination.

For utilities/installation, an electrical supply capable of its 1.2 kW load and compressed air at 6–8 bar are required. The published air consumption is 2 NL/min.
